چکیده

The protection of stone cultural assets is related to the transformation surface characteristic from hydrophilic hydrophobic/superhydrophobic through application a coating. suitability coating depends not only on its capability dramatically change wettability, but also other parameters such as modification kinetics water absorption, permanence vapor diffusivity, resistance aging and low volatile organic compound emissions during application. In this work, an oligo(ethylensuccinamide) containing molecular pendant perfluoropolyether segments (SC2-PFPE) soluble in environmentally friendly solvents was tested protective agent for historic artifacts. Magnetic resonance imaging relaxometry were employed evaluate effects wettability change, follow diffusion inside rock study porous structure evolution after SC2-PFPE. A sun-like irradiation test used investigate photo-stability product. results demonstrate that highly photo-stable SC2-PFPE minimizes by modifying sorptivity without significantly affecting diffusivity. improved performance comparison traditional coatings makes it potential candidate advanced heritage protection.
